Administrative / ProfesSIONAL POSITIONS
ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø invites applications for a per diem (880 hours/fiscal year) Clinician in our Health and Wellness Department. This position is ideal for license eligible individuals who require post graduate clinical experience for professional licensure. This job entails assisting the Director of Health and Wellness with the delivery of psychological services to a multicultural student body. In addition, this position will also entail the development and presentation of preventative psychoeducational programming to the campus community. This position reports directly to the Director of Health and Wellness for administrative supervision and may consult with any of the other Health and Wellness mental health professionals for clinical supervision (as needed).
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Clinical Services
- Provide psychological assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and short-term individual and group therapy to a diverse student population, consistent with licensure and professional standards.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to assess and treat students experiencing emotional, behavioral, and personal concerns.
- Refer students to appropriate community providers, hospitals, and other resources, coordinating follow-up care and post-hospitalization support as needed.
- Consult with students’ families and significant others, when appropriate, to support treatment and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with ethical, legal, and institutional standards.
Consultation, Outreach, and Collaboration
- Consult with faculty, administrators, Residence Life staff, and other campus partners regarding student mental health concerns and provide recommendations when appropriate.
- Conduct evaluations and prepare reports for students referred through administrative processes.
- Provide immediate crisis assessment and intervention for students experiencing urgent psychological or behavioral concerns.
- Develop and facilitate psychoeducational programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives that promote student wellness.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community mental health providers, hospitals, and other external resources.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case consultations, and administrative supervision with the Director of Health and Wellness.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience
- Graduate level mental health degree (degree must entail direct on campus, classroom coursework) with a clinical focus (Psy.D., Ph.D., MA/MS in mental health counseling, MSW)
- Licensure commensurate with the above degree enabling the individual to practice independently in the state of NY without supervision (Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker). Note, clinical and/or administrative supervision may still be required.  The individual is responsible for maintaining Active licensure status in the state of NY for the duration of the appointment.
- Experience with delivering mental health services in person and via telehealth
- While this position is on site at ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø, telehealth modalities may be utilized (if indicated or needed). Knowledge of guidelines commensurate with one’s license and applicable laws is required.
- Maintain individual malpractice insurance policy.
- Experience with conducting individual and group psychotherapy with a college student population (prefer college psychological services center experience).
- Specific experience in crisis intervention required.

Compensation and Schedule
- This is a per diem position, W2, without benefits
- This position pays an hourly rate of $40/hour
- Individuals are asked to provide a minimum of 14 hours per week on site between the hours of 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday
- While there is some flexibility, it is asked that the clinician maintain a consistent weekly schedule.

This position is fully in-person and will be responsible for providing individualized, comprehensive, academic support to students enrolled in the Pathways program and administrative duties related to the overall operation of the program and the Office of Disability and Access Services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one academic meetings with a caseload of students teaching learning strategies and addressing academic needs.
- Teach time management and organizational skills, as well as study skills and test-taking strategies.
- Provide assistance with all aspects of the writing process.
- Assist students with transition to college and development of self-advocacy skills.
- Develop and facilitate workshops for small groups of students on a variety of study skills topics.
- Participate in outreach, recruitment and retention initiatives on behalf of the Pathways program.
- Help students understand their learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records for program operation and development.
- Refer students to campus resources including, but not limited to, the Center for Academic Excellence, Student Success, Counseling and Psychological Services, the Health and Wellness Center, and Career Development.
- Advise Director of student progress and concerns.

The Strength and Conditioning Coach is responsible for the organization, supervision, and administration of the College’s strength and conditioning program, including the development and implementation of training programs designed to enhance the performance, health, and safety of student-athletes.

- Oversee all fitness, strength, and conditioning activities for student-athletes.Â
- Design and implement innovative strength, conditioning, speed, and agility programs.Â

ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø is seeking a qualified and motivated full time, 10 month, Assistant Athletic Trainer to support the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletic programs. Reporting to the Manager, Sports Medicine, the Assistant Athletic Trainer plays a key role in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and athlete education.
This position may be assigned primary team responsibilities during two of the three athletic seasons and support general athletic training room operations during the third season.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Provide athletic training coverage for scheduled home practices and intercollegiate contests
- Attend away contests as determined by the Manager, Sports Medicine
- Work collaboratively with team physicians regarding:
- Physician and hospital referrals
- Treatment and rehabilitation of injured athletes
- Return-to-play decisions
- Administer first aid and emergency care to injured athletes
- Evaluate, document, and maintain accurate records of athletic injuries and treatments
- ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø preventative taping, bracing, and protective equipment as needed
- Perform therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation programs
- Maintain stocked first aid kits and training room supplies
- Open and close the athletic training room as scheduled
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized athletic training environment
- Counsel coaches and student-athletes on conditioning, safety, injury prevention, nutrition, stretching, and reconditioning

Qualifications
- National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Certification
- Eligible for New York State Athletic Trainer Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution

- Current Advanced First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications (American Red Cross or equivalent)
- Personal professional liability insurance

The Head Coach is responsible for the administration, supervision, and management of all aspects of the Softball program in alignment with the policies and regulations of ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø, the East Coast Conference (ECC), and the NCAA.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Oversee all aspects of the Softball program, including planning, coaching, and program administration.
- Recruit qualified student-athletes and support their academic progress.
- Select, supervise, and retain Assistant Coaches in collaboration with the Director of Athletics.
- Lead all practices and competitions, including developing practice plans and game strategies.
- Manage administrative duties such as rosters, scheduling, statistics, facilities, tournaments, and travel arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with ECC and NCAA rules and attend required meetings and committees.
- Provide budget recommendations and maintain a positive, professional team culture.
- Support student-athlete well-being and coordinate with sports medicine staff.
- Collaborate with campus departments and report any outside athletic income per NCAA guidelines.
- Drive college vans as needed and perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.

ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø seeks a collaborative and experienced leader to serve as Director of Campus Safety. Reporting to the Vice President for Student Development, the Director provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all campus safety and security functions. This position is responsible for fostering a safe and secure learning, living, and working environment through proactive safety initiatives, emergency preparedness planning, regulatory compliance, community partnerships, and effective management of campus security operations.
The Director serves as the College’s primary liaison with local, state, and federal public safety agencies and plays a critical role in institutional emergency response, risk management, Clery Act compliance, and campus-wide safety education efforts. The successful candidate will be a student-centered leader who promotes accountability, restorative practices, and a culture of safety across the campus community.
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Provide leadership, supervision, and strategic direction for the Department of Campus Safety, including staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and budget oversight.

Direct all campus safety and security operations, including patrol services, access control, parking and traffic management, incident response, investigations, security technology, and emergency communications.

Lead the College’s emergency preparedness and response efforts by developing, implementing, and evaluating emergency management plans, training programs, drills, tabletop exercises, and crisis response protocols.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations, including the Jeanne Clery Act, OSHA requirements, fire safety standards, crime reporting obligations, and other campus safety-related mandates.

This position will be responsible for repairing and maintaining campus buildings, equipment, and grounds by using miscellaneous hand tools and power tools that include carpenter, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tools.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and repairs HVAC equipment (includes filter change and coil cleaning).
- Performs minor repairs and/or replacement of plumbing fixtures/parts (soldering, use of an electrical snake).
- Performs minor repairs and/or replacement of electrical fixtures/parts and wiring as required.
- Performs minor carpentry work as required to repair windows, doors, hardware, screens, furniture, counters, partitions (building framework and trim) and floors.
- Painting, including repairs of holes/cracks and setting up ladders/scaffolding.
- Performs minor masonry repairs and concrete work.
- Performs minor roof repairs and gutter maintenance.
- Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks, parking lots, building entrances, etc.
- Moves or sets up furniture in offices or for special events, receiving/delivering materials and equipment as required by various campus offices.
- Transport tools, layout/setup and assemble/install materials and components at job site.
- Mows lawn, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers in the event outside landscaping service is discontinued or interrupted.
- Maintains cleanliness of the work area.
- Keep Facilities Manager informed of needed repairs or additions needed to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for students, faculty, and administrators.

SUPPORT STAFF POSITIONS
ÌìÑĺ£½ÇÉçÇø is seeking qualified candidates for Per Diem Campus Safety & Security Officer positions. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our students, faculty, staff, guests, and campus facilities, while enforcing college policies and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol campus buildings and grounds to identify and respond to unauthorized presence, safety hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to emergencies, contacting local law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Respond to incidents including fights, fires, accidents, and medical emergencies.
- Deter theft and misconduct; enforce college rules and remove violators when necessary.
- Verify IDs, log visitors, and control traffic during regular operations and special events.
- Maintain detailed daily reports and security logs on incidents, equipment malfunctions, and unusual occurrences.
- Monitor and maintain security equipment, including radios and the College’s phone system during off-hours.
- Deliver mail between the Post Office and campus mailroom during day shifts (if applicable).
- Assist students, staff, and the public with information and support, including participation in mandated fire drills and building access control.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and approachable presence at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Current NYS Security Guard Registration
- Must have no convictions of a NYS crime or comparable out-of-state offense
